You'll save time and labor and add quality with Duratec
Polyester Base Primer. Here's why you should choose Duratec Polyester Base
Primer-- Easy to apply -- apply with a sprayer, brush or roller. Rapid coat
buildup--builds quickly--between 1 to 3 mm, 40-120 mils, maximum weton-wet
application with minimum sag on vertical surfaces. Quick Shaping--quickly
shaped by knife, file or sandpaper. Fast air curing--saves time. The primer
quickly air cures to an easily sandable surface, which provides a stable base
for other coatings. High heat distortion temperature--reduces the risk of
post-cure or distortion from elevated temperature due to exotherm and
consequential print-through of substrates.
Usage For composites, metal, MDF, brick, concrete, various
lowdensity foams, plaster and clay.
Features:
Here's why you should choose Duratec Polyester Sanding
Primer: Low porosity--provides a super fine leveling and filling system on a
variety of substrates with superior release properties. Adhesion to most
epoxies -- with heat distortion level of 201°F, 94°C, the primer also adheres
to fiberglass, properly prepared metal, wood, MDF, brick, concrete and
polyurethane foam. Rapid coat buildup--to 40 mils, 1000 microns, wet on wet, on
composite plug and master mold surfaces; saves time and labor cost. Easy sanding--saves
time and effort. An exceptional primer for topcoating with Duratec Surfacing
Primers and HiGloss Coatings, lacquers and polyurethane paints.
Recommended Uses:
• Surface coat for plugs/ patterns for composite tooling.
• Easy Sanding High-Build Primer for composite parts.
• High Build, Fast Sanding Primer perfectly smooth surfaces
• A substitute for sanding gelcoat -epoxy laminates or
pinhole-free surfaces.
• Highly crosslinked coating providing excellent chemical
resistance Features: Low Porosity- provides a super fine leveling and filling
system. Applied properly, Surface Primer provides a porosity-free surface
without pinholes or defects. Adhesion to most epoxies- with heat distortion
level of 200° F/93 C the primer also adheres to fiberglass, wood, MDF, brick,
concrete and polyurethane foam. Rapid Buildup- up to 40 mils 1000 microns, wet
on wet, on composite plugs and master mold surfaces. Save time and labor. Easy
Sanding-also saves time and labor. The primer cures to a surface that polishes
to a gloss.
